Currently, seven candidates for Speaker have confirmed for the event, which will be moderated by Rep. Len Turcotte (R-Barrington), with a panel of policy experts.<\/p>\n<p>The confirmed speaker candidates are (in alphabetical order):<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Al Baldasaro (R-Londonderry)<\/p>\n<p>Rep. John Burt (R-Goffstown)<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Speaker Gene Chandler (R-Bartlett)<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Jim McConnell (R-Swanzey)<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Laurie Sanborn (R-Bedford)<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Steve Shurtleff (D-Concord)<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Steven Smith (R-Charlestown)<\/p>\n<p>The confirmed panelists for the event will be:<\/p>\n<p>Andrew Cline, Interim President, Josiah Barlett Center<\/p>\n<p>Andy Crews, President, AutoFair<\/p>\n<p>Michelle Levell, Director, School Choice for New Hampshire<\/p>\n<p>Ed Naile, Chairman, Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe coming election for Speaker will have a significant impact on the state\u2019s future, so it is critical to hear where the candidates stand on important issues facing the state.
